Vanessa Smude

Vanessa is the manager of the Sonshine Closet. Her daily goal is to continue the vision, and the mission, that was started in 2003 by a small group of men and women- “To have people see us and experience Christ through ourselves and our efforts in the community.” The verse that supports her daily is Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Vanessa has taught in a one-room school house, with all English language learning students, from Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
